Interstellar Outdoor Cinema FAQ

Weather and Cancellations

  • Interstellar Outdoor Cinema does not operate in the rain, storms or in high winds exceeding 35 km/hour.
  • If we must cancel, we will announce the cancellation prior to 6pm the day of the movie. Cancellations will be announced on social media, and our website. Ticket purchasers will also be sent an email.
  • In the event of a cancellation, movies will be rescheduled and/or a credit will be issued for another movie of your choice. We do not offer refunds.
  • If a severe thunder storm or heavy rain occurs, making it impossible for you to stay and enjoy the movie, we will give you a rain check if you haven’t been able to see at least 30 mins of the movie. Be sure to hold onto your tickets. We can’t offer you a rain check if you don’t have your tickets.
  • If a power outage or such act of nature, or technical difficulty beyond our control occurs, we will offer passes, and or rain checks at which it is your choice which you prefer to accept.

Admission Information

  • All confirmed showings are posted on our website.
  • Online tickets are now available. Pre-purchasing tickets online is highly recommended. Your ticket will guarantee you entry, but it does not guarantee you a specific parking spot (there is no saving or reserving of specific spots).
  • Tickets will be available at the gate, if the showing is not sold out. If the showing is sold out online, no additional tickets are available. The gate accepts cash, debit, or credit card.
  • Please check individual weekly show schedules for exact showtimes, as they change throughout the season. The first movie starts at dusk. Start times will change throughout the season.
  • The gates open 60 minutes prior to the show.
  • The movie audio is broadcasted via FM radio to 98.5. Turning your key to the “accessory” position will consume very little power. If you’re concerned about your battery or if you are sitting outside or in the back of your truck, you may want to bring a portable battery powered boombox. There is no app to listen to the movie soundtrack; an FM tuner is required.
  • Dogs (well behaved) are more than welcome on a leash and cleaned up after. Management reserves the right to refuse any pets admission. Please, no pets in the washroom and concession building.
  • Large RVs, campers, motorhomes and semis will not be admitted.
  • Walk-ins are not permitted at this time. Everyone needs to be in a vehicle.
  • We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of individuals with disabilities. Since parking spots are limited close to the concession and washrooms, please arrive early for these spots, as they are available on a first come, first serve basis.
  • We have concessions available for purchase online, or onsite, that we can deliver to your car, as per the "Reopening Ontario Act".
